Anyone used the ramp on the west side of the lake?

We were there today and only saw one truck & boat trailer in the parking lot....wondered if it was a safe area or just not used often?

I use it all the time with no problems, never crowded. People just don't know about it.

I like the nice shade trees around the ramp, even though it attracts people fishing from the ramp area.

I saw this ramp last sat. as we were going up the creek to avoid the wind ... In years past it was barely usable...I'll sure use it next time I fish lake Pat !! Looks clean and on the end of the lake that I like !!

I think some of you are talking about two different ramps. Two on the east side: big one by golf course and a small one just south of there close to the dam. One on the west side is the one that looks underdeveloped and I was always afraid to leave my truck on this dead end trashed out road if it was the only one there. To get there follow signs left on first road past the lake when going west on US67. The fourth ramp that some of you are confusing with the west ramp is on the west side of far upper end of the lake where the Nolen River starts. Its the only ramp on the north side of US67. Ramp there is OK but if you are fishing the main lake its a little idle time through the shallow silted in upper lake after you go south under US67.
