spike it garlic. cause its cheap, widely available and a can lasts forever. I don't really believe any of it works to attract a bite. I do believe the garlic taste will keep it in their mouth for a sec or two longer for a better chance at hook set. just my opinion.

Bang garlic. Don't think any are really attractants, but a cover scent IMO.

Smelly Jelly, any flavor, you cant go wrong. I haven't used Smelly Jelly in years, I dont know where to find it anymore. I caught my personal best (8 lbs) on a shad colored tube bait coated with smelly jelly at Cypress Springs off the Crappie barge fishing with my grandpa. Where do you find it? Thanks! Cabelas carries it Also, for attractants I rarely find they are needed even though most baits I use are are unscented. If bite is tuff or light I go with Berkley Powerbait.

http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_Tour_Grade_Coffee_Scent_6oz/descpage-TGCS.htmlIt's new and something I first thought "to catch the fisherman", but this is an excellent cover scent/attractant that I actually believe works. I personally have had more success using this, than not. As stated in a previous post, I also believe they all work more as a cover scent rather than an attractant. This is just my opinion......

Ok, JJ's Majic is good stuff!!! I use it and I like it. Just be careful when the stuff gets hot! It have a tendency to blow up out of the top. Kind of like a shaken soda. I put the bottles of JJ's in the shade of the boat. Give it a try.

I did my own experiment , one time I was on fish and I have alot of different company scent/attractants in the boat. I rigged up the same lure and used them all.
THEY ALL CAUGHT FISH ! THEY BIT THEM ALL !
These are the ones I tried Smelly Jelly , Yum crawfish , Yum garlic , Yum shad , MegaStrike , Powerbait , Baitmate , Gulp Alive , TriggerX

Plus One on JJ's Majic. They have dyes that also have the scent. Works for me too!

Mega-Strike I've noticed that with it, when a fish picks it up they will hold onto it a lot longer. Works for me.
