my son and I are using it and it works fine as far as not getting tangles. He has had an issue where the line cut the knot. He was using a cinch knot and not a palomar.

the kvd spray works wonders on fluoro and braid, its a must for me also, helps with memory, casting, backlashes.

I like both Suffix and Power Pro, I have never tried the line conditioner...I thought it was only for floro.... I'll try it for sure! I have had bad luck with both Spiderwire and Stren Super Braid breaking in the middle of the spool.

30 is light light unless ur talking a spinning rod... 40 is the lightest I use... generally 50... if you using braid then why use the small stuff they are gona see it anyways... I would use at least 40
