Just wondering if Tawakoni will be fishable with these 15-25mph south winds? Where would be the best place to put in and fish for either Stripers or sandies? Was on it last Sat. when the front hit and it was ROUGH!

Texdan, It will be very tough. The fish right now will be migrating to the wind blown points to spawn. I am not saying you won't find fish along the South shoreline it just won't be easy. Omar Cotter www.luckotheirish.net (817) 937-8755

The TSA is having a rodeo IIII mean fishing tournament on sat at Tawakoni. Should be rough.

No bluewave you wont see us going 60 miles an hour.Most of our Striper boats wont go 60. I plan on anchoring in one spot all day. The bass fishermen are what you need to worry about and they wont be going 60 this weekend.

Bluewave....if you will go to the 8th piling from the West end of the 2 mile bridge and tie up to the north piling...you should be able to catch some fish and be out of the wind. Minnows or cut shad will work fine.
I'll be there in the wind.....see you there.

We will be out there Crappie fishin in Big Fish Cliff's tourny. Ya'll should enter it too. It's just $20 per person.

Are you gonna be out there fighting the wind? My truck is in the shop getting new brakes today and hopefully finished today. I still haven't had the honor to fish from your boat. Let me know if your going. It might be too windy though.
