Well, my Lowrance x85 gave out on me. Took it to the shop and was told the unit was toast. So, now Im in the market for a new unit to go up front. Been looking at the HB 718. What do you guys think....also will add, Im on a budget and not wanting to spend that much more than the 200 for the 718.

I have a friend that has one and I have fished with him and it works very well. He is using it at the console and a transom mount transducer. I must admit, I've been spoiled since I got a color graph on the console, but I do have the Eagle 320 on the trolling motor and it has been a workhorse for about 5 years and still holding up. O'Brien is right, there are some nice used units out there, but if you want new, that 718 would be a fine unit at a reasonable price.
