Ive been checked by Cooke Co. Game Warden Jim Lundberg he is out there at times, Ive seen him a couple of times this year.
You can fish the intake, you just have to stay back 300ft like the sign has always said. I got checked a couple years ago by Randolf McGee at Jordan Park one evening when I was coming off the lake. Only time I've been checked by a game warden here. I think a little more GW presence would stop some of the bs at the ramp like people ignoring the no wake buoys and idiots swimming around the ramps. Not to mention the people who can't seem to park correctly. Not an insult to the GWs, I know they are spread pretty thin as it is.

WTF? .. it says stay back 300 feet.. how hard is that to understand? NO one can cast 300 feet unless you have a 5 ounce weight and a surf rod, so no one should be able to fish it unless they are breaking the law. If you break a law in a tournament, you should be disqualified, it's that simple.

Just don't fish the intake during the tournament and all will be happy. If you want to fish it do it on your own time and know that you could possibly get a ticket depending on what GW happens to find you. Lets put this to bed as far as the tournament is concerned. Just call it an unwritten rule if you must. I'd rather hear about who won and how many boats were there things like that. I believe there were some good fish caught this week. Its just not good advertisement to get others to fish the tournaments at Ray Bob when this is all we are talking about on a post that says wednesday nighters at ray roberts.
Does anyone know the results?
