The forum has been awful quiet as to where and on what everyone's been catching fish!!! I wonder why that is?? Maybe it's the up-coming tournament. I would love to tell everyone where the fish are at, but I CAN"T FIND THEM!!!!! I have had the worst two days of fishing Lewisville I can ever remember!!! I hope the bite picks up before the tournament!!! Maybe I just lost my mojo!!! That would be an awful thing!! I'll be back at it in the morning, casting, slabbing, and (yuck) even trolling if I have to. Is anyone going out tomorrow??

I'm beginning to think we done caught them all.

I have been killing them West of I-35 from about 7 to 11am. Lots of magnum surface action. If you get over there Saturday and it seems slow - stay put and be patient - they'll come up.

I've noticed that the daily updates for Lewisville have disappeared over the past week or so. I figured all you tournament guys just didn't want to give up your hot spots.

I haven't been out there since last Friday night and I didn't do any good that night. I MIGHT be going out tonight. If I do and I get into something I'll be sure and post it on here.

Sorry Bob, no news. I have to have my new building finished and my business moved by the end of the month, so I haven't been on the lake in a week. I'll get it all done, but it's a chore. It's going to keep me from the tournament also, but I may run up for the weigh-in and fish fry just to meet everybody. Back to fishing in September.

Well you would to if you caught all the fish and there was no more to catch out there, guess we'll see on saturday.

I was out on Wed from around noon to 5:30, fished twin poles, party cove, lake dallas cut, rocky point and out from the Corinthian yacht club and never saw a school busting the surface. I trolled and picked up 12 keepers, but they were right at 10 inches each. I marked alot of fish on the graph. I put out 5 rednecks jugs on the lake dallas side of the dam in 20 ft of water and checked 1 hr later and all hooks were clean and no fish, used dead shad and soap bait.

I was out this morning and found lots of them surfacing. Found em in the same spot last 4 morning. Go west under 35 on the north shore line about 1 mile. From 8-10 am they are there. I promise. Really i do. Good luck.

I'm not posting, because I'm not fishing. I finally begin to start moving into the new house this weekend. I have to cross the 720 bridge to get to the house in Oak Point. I am hoping to at least stop at the park sometime and whine about the fact I can't fish the tournament this weekend.

I finally finished installing 103 boxes of tile and 110 boxes of laminate flooring, so I need a fishing break soon!

I'd love to attend the tournament but I'm attending my son's football scrimmage Saturday afternoon. It sounds like a fall pattern has already kicked in from what txsuperman posted. I struggled on Grapevine one day last week with the same types of problems that everyone is reporting for Lewisville.

Well I wish I had seen this post before now. I would have fished. The only real problem with sandie tourney is most of the fish I catch trying to sandie fish are hybrids. Lewisville is full of them. Oh, by the way I almost always catch a LMB when I sandie fish. Last time I went fishing for sandies I ended up with a 6lb LMB. Good Luck to all of you. Let us know how it turned out.
