I have lived in Gonzales for 30 years, and the area for 62 and this is the first time Lake Wood has been closed. I don't have any problem with closing it for a while, but for 6 weeks?
They do regular drawdowns for property owners to do maintenance.

It says "extended or terminated" so Im sure if the clean ups go well, it will be less time.

Yeah, it will be suspended before August. Too much money to lose otherwise.

It was real bad around New Braunfels area. But it wasn't as bad as predicted in the Lake Wood area. I do hope it took out some of the trash cabins on the island at Lake Wood.
