Haha, SirJet, every time i look at the pic, i recognize the spot!! Wanted to go fishing in there, but didn't want to cause trouble with that neighborhood there. Nice fish. I wouldn't know what to do if I had that on my line.

I like to fish over by Canal street and Rodeo dr. lotta crappie, a bunch of carp and channel cats, LMB, and even buffalo and sandbass. lots of blue cats too

The people in the neighborhood is kool. They came down to look at the fish when I caught it. I have caught every type of fish here.

Pondbass!! We were there today! We wanted to be near where the two canals meet and ended up at the bridge. We caught 4 small catfish there. What do you use to catch the bass, crappie and buffalo? All we've been using is a hook and bread. Something in there broke two of our lines. Must be doing something wrong. We're beginners so any tips, advice is appreciated.

bass and crappie have all been caught on crappie jigs, as with the sandbass. orange does good here. I tie e'm myself

Buffs and carp- corn on a #6 hook with a 12 inch leader and a swivel and slip sinker. I also fly fish for most of e'm here. I catch most of the channels and blues on this rig too

Just wanted to know if you had any luck there, I went there yesterday eve and saw a couple of bass jump, but did not catch a thing.
