Hey Boys,

Did anyone lose an important piece of fishing equipment last weekend. I found it on Hwy. 380 near the bridge. I do not mean to be cryptic, but if you lost this you would be missing it.

Let me know,

Keith

bridgeportguide,

I lost my old net there. It blew out the boat. It is lashed with rope to hold it together. It has landed a ton of fish. If that is what you have found, I would love to get it back.

I know it was lost close to the bridge because one of my customers that day saw it on the side of the road and called me on my mobile and let me know that he saw someone pick up what he thought was my net. He was only behind me a minute or two. Here's hoping that this lost item is my net.

Thanks,

Michael Acosta

D*#%, I love honest folks! I lost two nice life vests my first year with my Ranger (too fast) and if they are lying around, they vanish! Lost them 3 months apart and yeah, I know, stupidity. The second one lost, which I had gotten from my long time fishing Buddy when I purchased his boat after he succumbed to Liver cancer, gave me reason to call the docks to inquire about someone turning them in as a "found" item. Would you believe that 2 of the 3 dock mgrs, laughed at me and let me know that no one would offer to give a $60 vest back, forget about it. Live and learn.

Bridgeportguide,

I thank you very much. Your honesty is to be commended. I will call you or email you later in the week. I may be out there saturday, but I'm not sure yet.

Thanks again,

Another example of why this is the best group of fishermen around. I "lost" a brand new Shimano Magnesium Scorpion and a prototype Gamagatsu rod that I got in Tokyo a few years ago. Had my name and number under the reel seat. A few days go by and I get a phone call from a "fellow fisherman" saying he had it and would be happy to return it for $200. Considering that it was non-replacable, I paid the money! Gave the money, got the combo, never asked questions. Wish there were more honest people around.

BTW: after reading the above post,I might add I will "NOT" be seeking a "reward" for returning something that doesn't belong to me in the first place!

Weekendwarrior lost his keys on Eagle Mountain last month. Maybe he's fishing Bridgeport now?

I caught a license plate at Lake Lavon Monday morning. I was throwing my net around the Avalon boat ramp. I propped it up by the sign at the launch. By the way it expired last month!

Hey, Rooster_1...
He must have won some type of a contest at one time or another? (NO, NO...I meant he baited 10 hooks faster than the rest of the guys)..../MikeW)
