Bass Assasin 5" Chicken on a Chain

Mirrolure Top Dog Jr. in Chartreuse/silver/white

Any brand red/white shad tail for sight casting reds

Though they're not availabe anymore I still use Tidal Surge split tails for fishing trout under birds. The absolute Best bait for that app.

If these don't work I'll throw anything.

Surprised at how many of yall consider Gulp a lure. duel Dont get me wrong I have been known to throw a few when the going gets tough but I hide them from my buddies. bannana2 I think they are closer to "fresh dead" than a lure.

I know what you mean. My brother actually gives me a lot [censored] about using Gulp (how I might as well just hook a dead shrimp and toss it in).

I try only to use Gulp as a last resort, as I dont get to fish saltwater often and when I do I hardly get any bites sometimes. What I dont like about Gulp too, its that every single fish will hit it and leave (because of the scent). Last time I was out trying to catch specks and reds, I ended up getting just catfish and small black fin sharks.

Gulp is a LURE/JIG. So guys that spray any kind of scent on their jigs should blush everytime they do it? Yes gulp does stink, and it's about as bad as getting shad guts on your hands after messing with one, but man, that stuff works. I even take GULP with me offshore, and use it with my bucktails for mahi, or grouper jigs. They help immensely.
