I just cant find them like I use too do? I guess I am getting old? Any help will be thankfull so if you could help I thank you in advance. Thanks guys. Hope to see you on the lake.

On a normal weekend in July, they should be easy to find. Head towards the dam and you'll see the surfacing.
On July 4th weekend, all the boat traffic will make the surface action tough. Best best is to get on real early and look for surfacing fish before all the traffic starts.
Good Luck!

Thanks Grady he will be here a couple of days before the crowd hits so I plan on looking hard for them till then but I just cant seem to place them this year? All the fish seem screwed up this year, every one is saying its because of the late winter?

By July 4th weekend they should be in full on topwater feeding for a couple hours after sunrise and a couple hours before sunset. Once they stop hitting top I would recommend finding a nice brushpile and doing some crappie fishing, its tough to beat!

Currently Grady N is spot on. You should be able to find some boils around the dam, seems time of day is irrelevant right now. My experience on Roberts has been once surface temps exceed 85 degrees during the day your best chances are early and late. I have been able to pick up a few on the old 455 road bed either trolling or slabbing with some sort of white little george or just about anything with a spinner blade. You can also find some stacking up around the brush pile just north of the Isle Du Bois camping area about 150 yards off of the rip rap. Also there is sand bass flats that can be a hot spot for surface activity (just to the south-west side of Wolf Island. And sandbass pasture which is about a quarter north east of Wolf Island. You can buzz me on my cell and i will try to help you as much as possible 972-835-1505. I may even be on the lake myself, not sure yet though. I can tell you the surface activity near the dam will be suppressed due to all the pleasure boaters blasting through them with tubes, skiers and wake boards in tow.

Thats a new one on me Omar. We usually just use this old box with a crank and a couple of chains, that is with out a doubt the best lure in my boat. You can lure em in close enough to net with that baby! hahahaha.........
