Hey guys...I just moved here from missouri last year and I was always used to fishing the rivers in Missouri. I am in Wise County now and I was wondering where abouts there was access to fish the river, what river(s) and if any of the fishing is good up here in north texas...any feedback would be helpful. I havent had a chance to break the poles out since we moved so I am itching to get all over it again. Thanks!!!

Missouri has some fine rivers...especially the Elk river up in Noel in the Ozarks! As a kid I lived in lived in Granby Missouri for 2 years and Galena and Riverton Kansas as a kid for 4 years and we used to travel to the Ozarks to the Noel area and camp nearly every weekend from spring to late fall. Caught my first rod in reel fish there in one of the streams/creks in the area. Not sure if it was the elk it may have been.
Noel was always a great place.Clear water..some of my best memories there too.
Not much in this part of Texas NE to compare though the Red,Trinity and Sabine are not bad fished the right places. However we do have a large azz state with counties the size of Missouri and different regions in which there are some great rivers some clear not as green or muddy.

If we aren't supposed to eat the animals, then why did God make them out of meat?

You might want to get with YaknYota on the Brazo River fishing.
