How easy is it to add fluid to it? What kind of fluid do you use?
Just trying to remember to turn my lights off backing down the ramp!

Easy. There should be a filler hole with a small screw cap on top of the steering column. Tiny funnel helps. I use the pointed cap off of a bottle of gear oil. You must use hydraulic steering fluid. Go to Sea Star web site for specs. Do not use brake fluid or transmission fuid. I also think automotive power steering fluid is a no-no.

YOu can buy the Pennzoil brand fluid at bass pro for under $5 per bottle. It if look to your right just as you walk in the store, it's near the other oils and boat accessories. It says Power Trim fluid but if you read the bottle it's also used for all hydraulic steering systems. You can probably get it at Academy too and maybe Wally World.

First question is why are you having to add fluid?
