Driving down 146 past Nasa Rd 1 heading to Kemah, there is a area on the side of the road I see ppl fishing. It's between Toddville Road and 146. What is that area called? And is the fishing good there? How is the wadefishing?

I know where your talking about. I used to fish that after school when I didnt have the time to drive to galveston. I dont know if it has a name but the fishing is decent. Be carefull it gets kinda deep in the middle. I fished it all the time until i realized that the building on the backside of that water was a waste treatment plant. Kinda changed my mind after that.

when you drive down one of the roads you can smell the waste treatment plant. It smells very bad, but looks like great spot to fish.

its hit or miss there, ive caught a bunch of flounder, reds and specks there. All depends on the tide there and fish movement, best time is late july. Alot of croakers and whiting there if you like fish hitting all the time.
Flounders: use live live mullet on the bottom.

Reds and specks: live shrimp on a cork, incoming tide is the best there but when tide goes out its no fish city, but in the evenings fish on the bay side around the rocks with live shrimp and a cork and youll catch some specks.
