Out from 7 to noon on Saturday and couldn't find any topwater action so we decided to troll Hellpets. End up with only 12 but one was a 4.5lb Hybrid.Spent more time swimming it seemed to cool off then fishing! Darn it was hot.
Anybody have any luck on Saturday?

Yep right about noon across from deadmans in the trees topwater till about 2. I have seen heavy top water but not this heavy. We saw a boat show going on north of trees as we came up on it we found top water action on main lake side for about an hour we had the school to our self. We followed them around through the trees then back out to main lake about three times until it finally brought us around to the boat show where it ended. The schools we saw around the boat show were far smaller then ours. The fish were goods with small ones mixed in. We didnt keep any today. We went home shortly after that.

We caught about a dozen sandies, a catfish and a bass trolling bandit crankbaits in 16-30' of water this morning. They preferred a solid white body. We also caught a buffalo, a crappie, and sandies fishing vertical in 16-22'.
