Whats the deal with the banjo minnow? Does it work or what? My roommate won't shut up about it. I wan't to try it but I don't like buying that infomercial junk. So I'm turning to you guys. Has anybody tried it? Does it work like they say it does?

you will get mixed reviews on it if you like to use a soft plastic jerkbait and know areas where those style baits work then you will have success if not then its hard to say
 fish to live and live to fish

IMHO all those new artificials aren't designed to catch fish. Just to catch fishermen.

it is junk. DONT GET IT. I got a bass with it on the first cast but havent caught anything else ever

They make plastic shad that look and work alike the banjo at a fraction of the price and you can buy them anywhere.

I have to admit..I couldnt stand it and bought the Banjo Minnows and I cant even get the dog to bite them. They might work great on fish up north but they are worthless here. I have never even gotten close to a bite on these...Ill sell them to you cheap
