I would like to do some bank fishing, and was wondering if Grapevine is a good place to go. I will be fishing for Largemouth, bu I want to take my kids to fish for whatever they can catch. Please let me know if Grapevine is a good place or if there s someplace better. Thanks in advance.

I have been on Grapevine the last two weekends, for "party" reasons and there is no way I would try to do any fishing out there right now.
Might try and find a nice pond somewhere close to you.

Go to the bank fish topic on this website. You will find a lot of info on bank fishing Lake Grapevine. It can be good but bass fishing from the shore could be average right now, probably not great. You can always find other species for the kids to catch. Bream(perch) is always easy, espcially if you can find some shade around boat docks and such or around rocks.

The link below will take you to the bank fishing section, you have a much better chance of finding the information you are looking for down there.

Twin Coves is shut down and has been for a year. The ramps and areas around Lakeview park, And oak grove park are good.
