There were not huge schools of hog Sandies and Hybrids in the lake, and we did not catch over a 100 fish today! We keep and cleaned the 25 biggest for there dinner. Sorry such a bad fishing report. Water temp was around 84 and the water was in great shape!! Oh ya just a reminder, if you graph a big pile of fish on the bottom of the lake go ahead and throw your 30+ pound anchor in so more fish will move over under my boat! Thanks!! All of our fish were caught today using LEAD BABIES SLABS and FLY-BY-NIGHT-FLIES! Man is Lake Lewisville fished out!

David, we had just got on the lake when we saw you the first time. It was already hot by then. Glad you got into some good ones. I have never seen the whites acting like they were yesterday. At first I thought they were gizzard shad. They were just under the surface and scooping up very tiny shad spawn. We used rooster tails and mice lures and caught one on every cast. Only about 10% of them were over 10 inches though. This phenomenon was happening most everywhere on the main lake. After a while it was quite boring and hot so we called it a day. Out in the boat show we dropped slabs down and landed a few nice sized whites. It was a zero hybrid day for us. One word of advice: fish early or late. Do not start at 10:30 AM like we did.

My buddy from Albuquerque tried fishing for sb's. All we caught were blues. He caught 4 nice ones in fact. I managed 2 small channel cats.
