Has anyone have any updates on PK striper/sandbass fishing? Or has the golden algea hurt the fishing? Going there next week and any report will be helpful.

I'm new to the pk area. I am in the hells gate area. Where would be a good place to go with the kids for them to catch something? Any help would be appreciated.

Buy yourself some underwater lights. The floating ones and sinking lights both work well. I run both of them. Set the lights off your dock once the sun goes down. You should have some sandies, stripers, lmb and carp show up.

For bait I would use minnows, and lures I would try glow-in-the-dark 2-4inch grubs and sassy's.

The carp are a lot of fun. You just need some bread and a treble hook

You may want to go pick up a bag of range cubes from a feed store. They make great chum for catfish, just a handfull broadcasted in your fihing zone and you should be good to go.
