The new and lighted pier should be open within a couple of weeks. I'm not sure about any dates when it will or the hours of operation. One rumor I heard is that it will be open all night on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

From what I understand, they are just waiting for permits, then will run the lights, but as stated, everything is a rumor. I heard the pier is complete, except for some stuff at the 'T' head.

They also have a bait shop with medium sized live shrimp. I'm not sure about the hours of the shop either, but the phone number is 281-471-5705. The only website I could find is a facebook page.

That's awesome thanks Jim. Last time i went out there about 3 months ago i think they didnt even have any of that up. Just the two small beaches and lil jettie looking things out there.

Yea I was out there also, sounds like they will be open within the next two weeks, over heard the guy that works at the bait shop that they are going to be open all night on the weekends and the bait shop will be as well. There is an open pier down the road also, no charge and open until dusk.
