Anyone know some good areas to fish at in Tyler? i know of all the lakes in the area, but looking for something i can bank fish from right now, like a good size pond, small lake, creek...anything. im new to the area so i don't have much of a clue whats around here. thanks guys.

On 69 South there's Falkner Park and it has a pond that has some nice bass in it. First Baptist Church has a South Campus south of Falkner that likewise has some nice bass in it.

Sorry mev my phone screwed up.hey there is a fishing barge on lake Tyler (old lake)called fritz an opals fishing barge.its like 5 bucks.and you can also fish the banks down there.the road to get to it is off of baskom or baskim road.the same road camp Tyler is on.there is a sighn there where you turn.it can be great fishing there at times,up to 14 foot of water.heck I got a backseat open sometimes pm me some time.maybe I can show you around some of the lakes.good luck.

Don't forget about Tyler State Park. There are some GREAT bass in there!

It is north of the inerstate on HWY 14.

yea, i have already planned to visit that. not really too far from where im working so ill probably hit it up after work sometime.
