Vaughns is hard to beat. Go on Thursday night and get the all you can stand grilled or fried Quail. Holy smokes I can eat a covey of those little rascals. BASSHAWK

I would have to also vote for Vaughns. I've never tried the Quail but I'm sure it's really good. The Catfish and Shrimp are great. Oh and don't forget the Beans.

Really? I haven't tried Texas De Brazil myself yet, but I know quite a few people who have, and you're the first one who actually prefers it to Fogo de Chao.

I like the meat at T de B better. My wife and I went to the Taste of the NFL fundraiser for the N. Texas Food Banks last year. The theme was tailgating food and Fogos was serving a lambchop that was unbelievable good though. We went back for seconds and thirds. But I've never had anything at the resturant that was better than to texas de brazil.

Rafain on Tollway btwn Frankford and Trinity...I believe. It's the same concept as Fogo but about $10 less and has, a MUCH better salad and desert bar. Of course you pay extra for the all you can eat desert. The lamb chops are AMAZING!

$10 less, very good!

Filling up at the salad bar ahead of time? Very bad.

Not generally a buffet fan but Zorro's on the S. Freeway in Ft. Worth is pretty doggone tasty. Good tasting meats and a wide assortment of fresh tasty veggies and a really fresh salad bar. No sloopy messes (one of my pet buffet peeves) around the buffet, either - the workers keep the buffet very clean and freshly stocked. (cheap too - $8.99 mon-fri)

QFT Papayas. The best buffet there was. It was in a hotel in the airport. Even the buffets I found in Vegas really couldn't compare to the quality that was found at Papayas.

This. Fogo is more than a bit overrated for the quality.
