I have a 9' 5" emotion charger at the moment that I have had a few years, and are looking for a new, more fishing related kayak. I'm hoping for it to be under $1000, preferrably under $900. I am 13 and 4' 9", so I'm wanting one under 12'. Weight is also something to consider, I would like to have one under 60 lbs. I do not need a peddle, just paddle. Angler full set up would e nice, but I can add accesories later on. I have been looking online non-stop, at native watercraft, ocean kayak, wilderness systems, ect, but want to hear a review from a trusted TFFer. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

900-1000 is right in the ballpark for a 12 foot Redfish, Manta Ray, Tarpon, or even an OK Trident 13. Don't know how much of a dealbreaker the less than 60 pound requirement is for you, but all of these yaks are 65-70 pounds except the Trident which is right at 60. Weight was something that mattered to me when I was first looking at yaks and I thought the Cobra Navigator was what I wanted since its only like 45 pounds. They're really fine stable yaks but they have high rocker which means you get some noticeable hull slap which I realized bothered me a lot when I paddled one. The hurricane yaks are very light too but they were outta my price range when I was looking so I never tried one. I know it's easier said than done sometimes, but I suggest trying to paddle as many as you can and seeing which one feels best. For me it was the MR 12.

An Ocean Kayak Caper would fit your needs perfectly.
I bought mine for the reason that it was light weight because of a bad shoulder. It's 11' long and weighs 45# and being stable at 31" wide, and would be in your price range.
