Hey guys...just thought I would pass on the info for the Adopt-a-fisherman event at Lake Bridgeport...Im taking my 3 1/2 yr old...should be a good day to teach and enjoy a kid fishing!!!

Info is as follows:

ADOPT A FISHERMAN - The 19th annual Adopt-A-Fisherman day is 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Wise County Park on Lake Bridgeport. The event will have four age divisions: 1-5; 6-8; 9-12; and 13-16. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the three heaviest fish in each age division. Children may fish from the banks or be adopted by participating boaters. The event will include free live bait for participants, a hot dog lunch, face painting and a sketch artist.
