Anyone use this product to improve hole shot? If so can you provide feedback?

Thanks,

I have a similar plate on the bottom of my 14" Rapidjack....it did help hole shot a bit also helped with backwash when shutting down. I actually saw more hole shot improvement when I added the top plate (to close off the entire jack plate) and filled it with 'play balls'........stern of boat floats just over an inch higher and without a jack plate full of water it comes over and takes off much better.

Hope that helps.....

ive made my own for over 14 yrs , old timers call them drag plates and they do cut down on backwash but there big plus is they keep your jack from scooping up water on the take off, i turn the outside edges down about 30 degress and it seems to give a little stern lift
