Here's a Pic of my 10 pound Redfish I caught on Fairfield last Saturday. We caught 20-25 reds in all but this was the biggest by far. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd20/metromonte/5302010_1.jpgWe trolled deep diving crank baits over humps and they would hit it just after the bait came off the hump. We missed three big ones. Two of em spit the hook and had one pull the hook off of my bait. I was expecting to see the eye screw pulled out but it looks like the snap ring broke/pulled sriaght. If that's the case, to bad that China put such a cheap part on that lure. You probably would have had a good'n. Nice fish

Exactly right! It was pretty mangled by the time it got ripped off the back end of the bait. I should have switched to another one but it was so shiny and the fish really liked it.
Last night I couldn't find an all chrome deep diving crank bait at Acadamy. There's my excuse to go to Bass Pro. May need to get a stout one from the saltwater section.
