I bought a new boat last year and some how my graph started doing the same as yours. I thought I needed a new transducer, but the dealer adjusted the settings on my graph and fixed the problem.
Sorry I could not be more helpful

I'm sure someone on here can tell you how to do a soft reset on your unit. That is probably all it would take. When you do that you don't lose any of your trails or waypoints. There is also a hard reset that can be done. That will take you back to all factory settings, in which case you will lose all your waypoints and any other memory that you have put into the unit. I have done it before but it has been awhile.

I've had several Eagle and Lowrance units that would do that and it was always a loose connection on the plugs at the back of the unit. If they are the connectors that just push in then they get jarred loose on the road and in rough water. Unplug, check you pins to make sure they are straight and then reconnect firmly.

I had a boat that always did this no matter what. I tried hard and soft resets, and checked wires time and time again. I never found out why it was doing that. Good luck with your unit.

I have not been able to figure this out either. Mine goes to 3 feet and will bounce back and forth with the correct footage if I'm lucky it's a Lowrance x125 on the front deck. I tried hard and sft resets last year. Moved trolling motor wires away from it and check connections.
Hopefully someone has fixed it before and will chim in.

Do you have a separate temp guage or is it built into the transducer? Is it the front or console graph that is flashing? I had this issue before, and I have a separate temp sensor. So I looked at the overlay data and the temp for the sonar was added, not the temp from the temp sensor. My 2 graphs are connected via the Nema 2000 Lowrance network. So I remvoed the sonar temp and added the temp from the EP-80 sensor and all was fixed.

sorry if i'm hijacking your post, WEC!
mine is built in the transducer, no seperate temp gauge and it's doing it on my front graph. I'm getting another unit up front this week and hopefully it'll pan out.. otherwise, I'll add a temp sensor

I posted the post. Thanks for all the help. It is on a 09 z520 ranger. The front one works fine but the ram mount is the one that is flashing . I did a soft reset and checked the connections to no help. It had been fine before.I had the depth flashing before and I didn't have it on shallow setting and it fixed it
