Do they still have the crappiethon or are there any crappie tournaments being held? I have a friend that loves to crappie fish and swears he can catch crappie in a bathtub, LOL, so I told him he should try tournaments.

If you are talking about at Lynn Creek, yea they do still have little things like that. I know that the have a contest to see who catches the biggest crappie that day. Also tell him to join CAT(Crappie Anglers of Texas) They hold tournement. You have to be a member to paticipate though.

Tell him to come on over to LOP and take our money. Only $20 to join CAT. We have 2 divisions, Pros & Joes. $50 a boat for Joes & $100 for Pros per tounament. Easy pickin's.
