me and my friends want to go to bolivar on the bay side of just trying to figure out what lures i can use instead of fishing with live shrimp

I use the johnson sprite gold spoon, red and white shrimp tails, norton sand eels, and ttf minows in several differnt colors.

Try Gulp - I like the 4" Shrimp, spoons are always great to have, the Chartreuse color gulp are always good to have on hand. Just run up to Academy, grab you a variety of plastics and have fun. The experimenting part is what makes it so much fun.

for some great topwater action try bubble rigs, gotcha lures, and spoons. These baits will catch bluefish, king mack, spanish mack, hardtail, pompano, you name it.
