Anyone else going out there today? They are stocking it with channel cats today. Me and a buddy are taking his 3 girls and a friend out there this afternoon.
I need to stop and get some shrimp and Danny Kings. Should be easy catching today.

Was out there last monday and the 2 weeks ago when it was stocked. Couldn't get a bite to save my life yesterday. However 2 weeks ago stocking I was able to limit in under 2 hours even with the rain. WTF? I've always heard it takes 'em a day or so to get adjusted to their new surroundings. Didn't see nearly as many people catching fish this time either. Any one else have this problem? Used earthworms and shrimp under a float both times and even moved to bottom fishing yesterday.

I went a couple weeks ago and caught a good bit but i gave them to a grandmother and a grandson fishing duo. I might make it out there thurs and i'll let you know if and what they are biting. I've caught more fish on bread than anything else. You got to feed them what they are constantly being fed. I see at least 3-4 loafs of bread thrown in everytime i go from families feeding the ducks. Sometimes you can see the cats swimming under them. Easy pickings at that point #2 fav bait is hotdogs "buy the cheap ones they have more fat and oil in them"

I caught 4 in the first 25 minutes after they stocked it. I was sitting within 15 feet while they put them in. After that they shut off and didn't get another bite. I'm gonna try again tomorrow afternoon.
The two smaller fish were caught on shrimp soaked in vanilla extract and garlic powder. The two bigger ones were caught on Danny King's blood punch bait.
I know they are there. In the last two stockings they have put over 850 cats in a 3 acre pond.
