Should I be looking far south (stone chimney, HF, Saline) or west of Villages? Remember, we're nt interested in keeping - just catching and getting my son escited about fishing. I'd appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I took my old friends from Dallas out last Saturday morning and we caught some nice Hybrids to 24" trolling hell pets from Brookshires heading south down the east shore line. Most in 18' water. Went out again later that evening and fished the far south east side of Saline Bay and landed a few nice Hybrids to again 24" with some nice whites mixed in. Same hell pet combo. Hope this helps.

thanks - we trolled horse farm and picked up 1 sand bass. then trolled the west side (that was where the wind was blowing) but it started raining and the deck hand sad we needed to go in. Thanks for the help. I got your message after we got back.

I will be out there with my son this weekend and will let ya know if we still find fish there or if they have moved. I am also thinking about going back to using bluegill on circle hooks. This method has worked great for us in the past with very few small fish caught.
