It was like having your own personal lake today. Only about 20 boats. Took the fam. out for some sight seeing looking for the gator and just carelessly tossed a chartruese and white spinner bait around.
Tore. Them. Up.
Biggest about 6 pounds.
We did see a guy working the trees with a worm pretty good and he was catching quite a bit.
Didn't see the gator though

Was out there saturday and laid the lumber to them all day.. biggest was close 8+.. working on the pic.. Water temp was 94!!! first thing in the morning as like getting a nice steam bath.. but once the sun came up .. the heat level out..LOL
Water was clear... except in the back of some creeks.. We must have boated 90 or more fish.. we literally did not go more than 5 cast with out catch a fish.. it was like shooting fish in a barrel!!! Just awesome fun day!!!!
Rip some Lips ya'll.

Got to go last friday, we lost count but we caught over 100 easy, several in the 6lb range but nothing big. It's stained in the north end so you can use 20lb line without a problem. 90 degree water north, 96 close to the dam. We were in the pack at the north end where the creek runs in. Must have been 40 boats in there bumping into each other, but who cared? Everybody was catching fish to beat the band. You could throw any bait you wanted and catch fish. We'd fish down the creek catching a fish on every other stump then turn around and do it again. Crazy, fun day of fishing. Long drive back to Fork after that but we were still smiling when we got back.
