Just found out today that the Regional Director for UsToo that is helping me coordinate this, and is a Prostate Cancer survivor, was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Poor guy can't win for losing. He can use all the extra prayers he can get.

I will stop by later today(wednesday) and get you our money. I planned on stopping by today but the rain was off and on and it is kind of hard to get in/out of the truck with a broken foot. The only reason I am up right now is that lightning struck my house TWICE at around midnight and I had to call the FD to come check it out. I'm on Fire Watch right now so I probably won't get to your shop until afternoon and after my nap..lol.. Anyone know if the tournament still on after all that rain? How bad did it mess up the water is my second question?

Tournament is still on . We only got a couple inches at the lake, watered the grass nicely. All the mess was down stream.

How many teams are signed up as of today Travis?? We didn't get to do ANY pre-fishing and haven't fished canyon in about 2 months so we will going into it kind of blind.. I hope there are enough teams to raise some money for the cause. It sure would be nice to place in this tourney..Either way it's for a good cause and I couldn't be more excited. This will be the first time that I get to fish since I broke my foot so I really don't care if we place or not.. I'm going to get a line wet and thats got me all jazzed up :] ...Hank

WOW!! What a long day. Me with a broke foot and my Captain being so sick that we had to anchor up 3 times because he was feeling so bad..We had a couple nice 2#'ers get off and a UFO that pulled drag like a redfish and then caught me in a tree..Fishing was pretty hard but we did manage 3 nice smallies and a LMB..To think if we had netted just one more bass we would have had our limit and been in third..I am stoked to the bone..Haven't fish Canyon in over 2 months and I get my broken footed @$$ off of the couch at 5am and boat 4 keepers and about 10 undersized..What an awesome day..It's nap time.. Thanks Travis, and who ever else helped, for organizing this.. Good job...Hank
