Can someone post an all inclusive list of "Native Rough Fish" species?

I'll start. Defining "Native" (or "rough fish" for that matter) can open a can of worms though. What makes a species native? Does it need to have been here since the dawn of time? If it has been here for 500 years and developed a naturalized population does that count as native? If it's native range was originally thought to extend west to Louisiana but there have been recent observations in East Texas rivers, is it native to Texas. Food for thought I guess.

I could be wrong. Heck, I'm wrong about many things. But I contend Striped Bass are native to the Hudson, Chesapeake, other lesser rivers of the US North East coast, and the Atlantic coast from lower Canada down to the Mid Atlantic states. I don't believe there were Stripers here until they were stocked. Therefore, not native.
