No. My grandfather bought me the rod and I prefer that reel. Not going to switch. I haven't been able to tell a difference.

What was annoying was seeing the big bass 10 ft or so down and swimming every imaginable lure past them. Some just aren't hungry I figured.

What was annoying was seeing the big bass 10 ft or so down and swimming every imaginable lure past them. Some just aren't hungry I figured. Thats why you never say no to live bait.
