No stripers in Arlington. Just hybrids and sandies. There is a hump out from the yacht club that usually has some fish on it.
Yes I did admit defeat. Good job back to back champion

F-M, I've caught a ton of S.B. on Lake A. If you launch at the Arkansas Lane ramp go West straight across straight across to west side. You will see a pipeline with a fence / or steel cables above it. The points at either end of the pipeline have held a lot of fish in the past. Also the first bank south of the pipline in 10 - 20 feet of water.Good luck. Mule

i fish from a kayak, i troll along the shore where the boat club is. catch them around the hump. depends on how much cajones i have about getting run over, as to how far offshore i go. further the better.

Butch, Have you been stopped and asked for your Lake Arlington boat sticker while in the kayak?

Butch, Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that kayaks had to have the sticker, but I haven't been able to find anyone in the lake office to ask. Just put the turbo fins on my Hobie adventure and am anxious to try them out. Lake Arlington is only about 8 to 10 min. from my house in S/W Arlington. Perhaps we can meet up at the lake sometime. I used to fish in a lot when I had a boat. James

Thanks Mule, I did well there I only fished for 30 minutes and I picked up about 10 sandies all in the above average class size wise and a nice 13+ inch sow. I also caught the smallest sandy I have ever hooked a fingerling nice looking fellow full of life... Maybe I will go out again morrow and go straight there instead of hitting the yacht club/pump station area. They were schooling there but I could not get them to take the bait. As soon as this wind lays down for a few day I am heading to the southern areas of the lake.
