This is why Robin doesn't do much "moderating". He has usually incriminated himself by participating in the thread. smile

I'm thinking you guys need to rethink you attitudes about pole dancers. Keep in mind, all most of them wanted to do was join a local fire department. The Man wouldn't let them do that. Where else do you expect them to find a brass pole to shimmy down?

Here we were having a perfectly innocent discussion about fly tying and you have to come in and make some lurid reference to exotic dancers. As soon as I find a responsible party, I shall have to tell.

Robin, do you know a responsible party? smile

Well, most of the likker ads encourage that we party responsibly. But a responsible party? I'll need to do
some serious research and get back with you...just kiddin'. smile

I looked for a responsiable party but the only party on topic I could find was with a fishing pole dancer

Good Sir. Please don't try to put words into my keyboard. I was just typing about purdy wimmen who wanted to be fire fighters in some place other than the kitchen.

Reminds me. My sister had a firefighter's cookbook. The theme was dishes which could be stopped in the middle of cooking, and resumed after the alarm was answered. That was some good chicken.

Alright, I tried twice with this shape from a wine cork. It ended up giving a pretty nice popper retrieve, but it certainly didn't walk the dog. No picture as it is currently in a tree smile

What's the key? I did my best just eyeballing from the pictures, and it looked like I got pretty close.

Do the sides need to be round ie. convex? I kept mine pretty flat, but I made the center concave.

What was wrong with your first three attempts?
