I'm looking for a 6'6, rod for throwing 1/4+ oz. My price range is 150-180. Any suggestions for the most sensitive in that price range, or best for the money. Replies appreciated. thanks

You'll like the micro guides. It reduces line slap on the rod which helps give you added distance. Not much, but a few yards. Also its awesome for pitching and flipping.

You need a medium heavy action rod. G.Loomis 783c IMX would be nice. A GLX would be nicer.

Yep got a great suggestion, CastAway's Skeleton series "Worm Rod Heavy" ... SKFWRH66 6'6" 1/4 - 1oz. As light, sensitive, and as tough rod out there. Made in USA. You will not find a better rod for the money. Plus FishFreakOnline.com has a Memorial Day sale on right now, get it to your door for $139 no shipping and no tax (out of state) pretty darn good deal. Here is a link ...CastAway @ FishFreakOnline...
