Down here for the week looking to see if anyone else is fishing here. Caught some bass but slow. Crankbaits only. Any good news about someone catching fish?

That is ridiculous... Where are the big fish at Conroe everyone else seems to find?? Fish that are even 5+ are hard to come by, not to mention a 7+ average!!!

Well had some luck fining some 4lbs fish on a hump. Back to back cast two 4lbs. On the second fish one was following it same size. DD22 crankbait. Got to hot for my wife and will go back this evening to see if any more can be caught.

Had a good morning today. That hump has some big ones on it. My battery is dead on my scales. But caught 5 fish over 5lbs and a kicker of about 8lbs. Going out one more morning before leaving. Good luck on your tournament Sunday. This mornings bite was on a brushhog. The crankbait bite didn't happen.

Today no luck. Lots of boat traffic. Had a good time though. Stayed at 1000 trails RV park. Should be call trailer park. Can't park your boat on spot but you can have as many golf carts as you want. Everyone here are living here full time. Lake is nice and the homes are great. I was fishing at N30*22.673 W095*36.394. The bass today were just popping it but not keeping it. Must of wore the out yesterday.

Good luck to you too. There are some big fish there. Had a great time but there is alot of boat traffic. On the creek channel side I caught a spotted bass? Only 12". I bet after this weekend is over and a day or two pass you can get on them again. Good luck.

Fished the Stowaway Sunday tournament today with a whopping 3 teams. We had about 25 keepers with the best 5 going around 17.5#. Caught a ton of 2 1/2# fish. They all looked the same after a while. Out deep on a Carolina Rig.
