Yep, Pulled out from the dock at 6:30am and hearing nothing but knocking from the engine - went to the closes place possible - limits with 100 plus by 7:15 - limped around after that catching hybrids. Turned out it's the lower unit (toast) great day - had to get er done quick but a bad result for me, LOL  Great day - but there will be better days without a broke boat, - Now its on to the back up boat - it catches fish too (thank GOD I have a back up boat),

Mark sorry to hear about your lower unit...Matt just went though that samething...he found a good source for new lower units at a great price with factory warranty...you might give him a call if you need one. Good Luck!

Sorry about the boat.
Got out to the lake yesterday at around 7:30am. Didn't catch a thing 'till we joined the boat show near the island.
Seemed to be marking a lot of fish along the south shore near the dam. Threw everything we had at them. Slabs, tailspinners, inline spinners, swimbaits. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

That stinks, good thing you've got a back up. I learned that the hard way a few years back myself. A guide can't have too many boats.
