what exactly does a moccassin look like? I have seen several different ones while fishing. Had a black one start chasing towards me last year but i got out.

If it was chasing you and black it would probably be a moccassin without a doubt. They are all black and if you see them with their mouth open it is white and they smell like skunks.

last year I took my son to Fl. in hopes of watching him reel in a big shark. While there in Wal-Mart he slipped in water on the floor and I watch helpless as he went into seizures and when he opened his eyes there was no one at home. I've had my share of head shots while playing ball but I had a helmet and never saw anyone go that long w/out responding. We spent our time in the childrens hospital. ALthough W.mart refuses to assist with bills I am thankfull that the good Lord allowed me to leave with my and son perfect shape.

x012, thanks for your testimony! the doctors expect him to make a full recovery. we are hopeing to bring him home today or tomorrow! it is times like these that you and i have been through that make us stronger, it is just hard to stand by helpless while your kiddo goes through something like this! thanks again, i needed the lift, it's been a long week!

Praying for a quick recovery and hopefully never to be bitten again. Just loaded the Judge with #6's and put it in the tackle bag for the next trip out. I fish Eagle Mountain A lot and up in the shallow grass that I've been punching around in as of late I've run accross over 20 snakes within a rods length of the boat. Full Lakes mean they'll spread out. Keep your grass short and debris out of areas around the house. Things as simple as potted plants are welcome signs to snakes.
