I am going to Texoma tomorrow and would like some help on where to go. I posted this yesterday and got a couple of responses. I need some backup plans. Any suggestions?

coalhoop, this is in response to your post of 6-3.I use a double swivel with 3'of Berkley Fluorocarbon leader and a Kahle hook. You run the main line thru the weight like in a Texas rig.Sometimes I will put a colored glass bead on either side of the weight, don't know if this helps, but it doesn't hurt. I use a 7ft. M/H ugly stick with a Ambassadeur 6500. I mount these in Driftmaster rod holders. I use a 2oz. weight if it is windy. The best weight I have found is the weights that are on your throw net. When you get hung up or torn, don't throw it away.Cut the weights off and you will have enough to last along time. You mentioned about not going if it's windy.I don't know how many times you've been to Texoma, but it can get very windy and very rough.I have a custom built 20ft. Falcon King Striper with a OMC 350 inboard and I have been on Texoma when it was too rough for my boat.Don't worry about white caps-look out for big rolling waves.GOOD LUCK

How could anyone be so unkind,to arrest a man for driving while blind.
