no one on this forum loves to fish more than I(bass),I can only imagine what it would be like to catch em......Roberts thursday morning,fishes shallow,one hit on a frog,fished medium,one fish on a t-rig worm,fished points,nada,fished humps,nada,fished roads,nada see where this post is going? I know time on the water,hire a guide......... think I need a hug.........

i know what you mean, i do ok on a lake with grass, but put me on a lake like conroe and u dont feel like i know how to fish.

Now you know where not to fish ... don't give up and you'll find em'

I know how you feel. We were out there Thursday also and hit a bunch of main lake points,Timber and roadbeds . 1 4 lb'er in T rig off roadbed and we just lucked into that one because we saw it chasing shad. Somebody posted that they were out there the same day and had one of their best days ever. Running on Hope right now because our talent seems to be lacking.

It's not just you on Ray Roberts. Try a different lake.

Ive put alot of time in the lake over the last year and really havent got much better. Fishing deeper now. I'll have a random good day followed by several strike outs. Im working on deep water but only caught 2 small ones on a hole day of fishing. I guess i'll keep on trying. Usually just a really expensive boat trip.

The bad thing is that there are people that can go out and consistantly catch good solid fish.
