Tawakoni just gets better and better. Big hybrids, small stripers, and mag sandies are running together. Dragging big shad are getting most of the bigger fish but in between blitzes artificials are picking up a few big fish as well. 5 or 6" sassys on a 3D heads from http://www.sbt4u.com/Jig-Heads-c4/ are a good way to target big fish. TNT 180's from http://www.tntslabs.com/TNT180.htm have been a small striper and mag sandy magnet. Everyone had fish over 7lbs today. Numbers and size have been the norm. I've got a couple openings next week if you want in on a very good bite.

I try not to cut them any slack, its been OK to good when I get the chance to get out. I'm still looking for a 27" or better for this year. The boat has been great....you know I'm grinning from ear to ear!

Yesterday morning we had bluebird skys with no wind. Usually tough fishing conditions. But it didn't matter. Tawakoni is too hot to let that get in the way. We had 2 fish over 8lbs...

Also caught countless magnum sandbass and threw back who knows how many hybrids, just kept what was needed for a feed. I know there was times when we all four had good hybrids on at once.

We don't get to do it as much as we used to, but as usual we made the most of it and as always I had a BIG time.

Those hybrids knew they were beat when she put that OU hat on that morning. Go SOONERS!!!!!!!
