Lake Alvarado has been real nice to us the last two weekends. Last weekend between me and my partner we caught 46 some dinks but for the most some real nice ones. This past weekend 26 in about 4 hrs. some real nice ones no dinks. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Great job. And, if you decided to keep some, more power to you. It is the legal limit.

Might as well go ahead and cook em up after keeping them long enough to string them, lay them out on the deck, and snap pictures. They probably won't live anyhow. Bass is some good eatin.
Nice catch!

I use to fish Alvarado years ago in a kayak from San Angelo (Lampro) I have caught very nice fish from that overlooked lake.

They weren't out of the water for long. When stringing them they were being put right into the lake as it was done. I know it looks like they were out for a long time , but they weren't, snapped the shots very quickly. Made sure all of them were fine when released. Didn't expect to upset some you just wanting to post a good time on the lake.....sorry for the ones that were affended.

I wouldn't worry about it, some people here think that they should be able to force their beliefs onto others. The state law says you can keep a certain number at a certain length requirement... more power to you, it is nobody else's business. I personally don't eat bass, but have given some to others that do on occasion ( and have no problem with those who keep em). I am tired of the fish snobs on here. Sorry to rant... back to what this is really about: Congrats on the catch! WTG!!!
