Well we're finally doing the 10 miler @ PK this weekend. Been trying to go for some time but rain and floods have cancelled our previous trips. By now I have normally done this trip 2-3 times, but this year; I haven't. The reports seem scarce or "not so good" lately here on the forum, but the heat is here and the fishing should pick up. It always seems better for #'s when we get the heat for some reason for me. Anyone gone in the last week or so?

I did pretty good out there at the end of December. It was 34 degrees and I caught a couple stripers and a couple large mouths in one day. I went back in April right when the GA bloom started and caught one catfish in 3 days. Its depressing thinking about it.

Yeah the GA is a concern but when the info. was first released; I heard further down river wasn't as bad. When Yota used to report on here; he claimed that the further down river from the dam you were; the better off you'd be. I really hope to come back and give everyone some good details. I can't remember a time when I went this time of year and didn't do good
