Whos in the blue and white boat, looks to have inboard motor but small outboard mounted on back for trolling. I cross the bridge at The Oasis every morning about daylight and this boat has been there somewhere near the bridge on the boatdock side. This morning the sandbass were schooling heavy right against the bank so I know you got in em. Hard to tell much about the boat going by in the near dark but I figure its one of you guys. Oh and most times when I get to the oppiste end of bridge from you they are schooling there too.

I have a 17 mako white center consule. Sad for me won't be back fishing till the end of July! I'm a roadie and I'm starting the iron maiden tour today, but when I get home plan on going to give Whitney a try

I was out yesterday by the dam and between myself and my fishing partner we caught around 30 from 7:30pm to 8:30 p.m. There were several nice ones mixed in and a few decent LMB. We fished for 2 hours (5:30 to 7:30) without a single hit, then I tied on a bright yellow tailspin and it was constant action for the last hour. I have a red tracker boat that I keep on B dock in the Lynn Marina. I'm on the water at least 3-4 times a week. Feel free to join me if any of you guys ever see me out there.

Hey Cates 30---I'm a regular on Pool also, and keep my Green/Gold Triton on "B" Dock at Lynn Creek too. We ought to compare notes sometime.
I was out this morning---some sandies breaking the surface, but couldn't buy a bite. Switched to carolina rig for blacks, and boated eight, including my first over the slot this season, a nice bass just under six pounds.

Heading out to Joe pool this Tuesday, we are renting a boat from the marina since ours was destroyed in a tornado back in Dec.
We will be doing some Bass fishing and we are thinking about trying to hit some cats up as well. Since you guys on this thread seem very knowledgeable on this lake, is there any "good" place for channel cats? i can not tell with google maps where the creek channels are...

report for 5/27, went out with Wayno around 4:30pm and stayed on the water until about 9pm. Between the two of us we boated 70 sandies with some really nice sized ones for the first time this year up to 14''. We also saw Woody Wood and friends out on the water and they were real nice folks and it is always nice to meet fellow TFFers. All of our fish came on chartreuse slabs in about 24-26 feet of water. All in all one of the best days I have had on the good ole' Pool. Hope this helps, see ya on the water

hey Odwraca the creek channels can be found the easiest by just going from one bank to another and look for them on your finder, I would suggest buying a good quality lake map and it will clearly display the channels. This time of the year the channel cats should be in full spawn, and you can usually find them in rocky areas. Some of the best places I can think of is the rock jetty at Lynn Creek Marina, the dam rip rap, and the "stair steps" that are at both ends of both bridges. If you can bait an area like these with soured grain, and wait fifteen minutes and it should be on. Look for water depths between 3-10 ft. with rocky or cement structure and use some sort of bobber to keep from hanging in the rocks (no matter what bait you use). Good luck to ya!

Like JPW said fishing is getting alot better on the Pool. With the water temps finally warming up the summer patterns are starting in. I had a great time Chris it was nice getting that smell out of your boat.
