Me and a few buddies are headed out to texoma the first week of august and need help desperatly. I have never fished for stripers out there and would like to get some info on where to start and what to use. I would rather not use live bait but will if thats all they are eating. We will be launching near the 377 area but will be willing to drive the lake if I have to. If you dont want to give out info on the lake you are more than welcome to e-mail me with some info.. Thanks.

Prunepicker or TNT slabs. Small chug bugs and Coho minnows. from 377 you'll likely have to head east a ways to find some good concentrations of fish. be ready to burn some gas !

What JD didnt say is this. If you can swing it, the best way to learn Texoma and stripers is with a guide like him that is wiling to not just let you catch a couple fish and take you back to the dock........but one that will teach and answer questions. Van
