How is the ramp at fishermans point? I have a 23' center console. I know it was pretty low last time I was out there. I heard Royce say someone has already fallen off the ramp. I dont want to do that.

Be careful backing in, and take it real slow. When leaving the Marina, stay between the Shoreline and the Marker Bouy. If you get to the RIGHT of the Bouy, you'll be on top of an old Tank Dam. Oh yea...Easy Limits everyday this past week. Magnum Sandies and small Hybrids. Try Pelican Island, Windsock, etc. in 30' water. All on Glitter Slabs www.rsrlures.com which you can get at the Marina. Royce www.gonefishin.biz Got one day open next week (Friday) if anyone is interested in loading the Boat. 903-389-4117

The ramp is still ok for your size of boat. Just don't go too deep. Make sure you trim your motor up very high when loading or you will damage your prop. The angle is very steep. The most difficulty you will have is boarding your boat. It seems the Gone Fishing guides are the only ones that can use the floating boarding dock. They tie up on both sides whenever they are there; early, at lunch, and in the evening. We had to beach our boat and try to load an elderly woman and kids. They made no effort to move and allow us to use the floating boarding dock. I know they have previledges at this marina that others do not have; however, paying a lauch fee should include safe boarding of your boat. I am just glad no one in my party was injured while trying to load or unload. If they are waiting on customers, going to lunch, or cleaning fish they could beach their boats and let the paying public use the boarding dock. I wonder why the owner lets this happen?

RC Lake Fisherman, Please let me or my Son (Adam) know if you're in need of using the Floating Dock at Fisherman's Point. We fish six days a week and are often the only ones at the Marina. I'm sure we get a bit complacent, and don't always see other folks when they need to tie up. We always try to help anyone we can and not be a problem. If you're asking the other question about Legal Limits in regard to Gone Fishin' Guide Service, and are thinking we don't obey the Laws, I assure we adhere to the TPWD Laws and Limits. We do fish and often help the Customers get their Limit, but don't break any Laws. Thanks and hope your days on the water are good! Royce Gone Fishin' Guide Service www.gonefishin.biz

rc lake fisherman....I dont know the whole story obviously, but if you have never talked to Royce, you should. He is very approachable and doesnt mind taking a few minutes to talk. I fished with him back in march and he is a super nice guy. He is one of the few guides who doesnt mind telling you where he's catching fish. Give him a shout sometime...I always do.

I agree! Royce is a great guy. On more than one occasion I have seen Royce on the water while I was fishing with my nephews. Everytime he is willing to tell where they have been biting. I promise you won't find too many nicer guys out there. Even more than all that, he doesnt know me but is still willing to help.

I third that!!! Royce does not know me from Adam but has helped me catch many fish on RC.
If you give a man a fish you feed him for the day, But if you teach him how to fish you feed him for life.
